An Evening of Reflection for Veterans and their Families:
Embracing Spirituality in the Face of War

Returning from military deployment can be a time filled with mixed emotions - a wonderful time and yet a stressful time. Recognizing this, the Dominican Center for Religious Development invites you - as Jesus invited the Disciples - to "Come away by yourselves to an out of the way place." MARK 6:31

Join us for an evening with dinner, conversation and prayer. Come as individuals, couples or come as a family (childcare will be provided) and perhaps discover God's presence within your journey.

Growing Your Prayer:
A six-week journey to deepening your relationship with God

Jesus taught us that prayer is relationship. He taught us to know God, his Abba, his Father and our Father, and invited us to enter a personal relationship with God our Creator, Jesus, God's Son and our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit, Giver of Life and Sanctifier. Prayer is our way to a conscious personal relationship. This series is an invitation and an opportunity to spend some time with God, to notice God's presence and call in our lives and to rest in the truth that "We are God's Beloved."
