The staff at the Dominican Center for Religious was invited to do presentation on the six Wednesdays of Lent. The topics, a brief description of the content and some information about the presenter follows:
Most of us know that we should forgive those who hurt us. But how can we forgive others when we find it so difficult to forgive ourselves? If we can offer ourselves unconditional forgiveness, as God is always offering us, we can offer that same unconditional forgiveness to others.

We will talk about forgiveness in the family concentrating on the three movements of forgiveness using Biblical stories of Zacheus, the Lost Sheep, and the Prodigal Son. These three movements of forgiveness will be examined through family life. Lastly, these movements will be examined as our own acceptance of God's forgiveness. You see, we know better than to give our children a snake, but we think God will give us a snake.
