Academic Requirements
- A Bachelor of Arts degree or its equivalent
- Archdiocesan Certificate in Pastoral Ministry or its equivalent
Personal
- A developing relationship with God and a commitment to journeying in faith
- An interest in the ministry of spiritual direction
- A willingness to be in spiritual direction
- A completed Application Form
- Three letters of recommendation
- Transcripts of all college credits
- A personal interview with the program staff members

- Growth and Development in the Spiritual Life
- Integration of Spirituality and Psychology
- History of Christian Spirituality
Spiritual Direction Practicum:
- Intern Spiritual Direction Practice
- Case Studies in Spiritual Direction
- Individual Supervision
- Process Skills Development
Integrating Seminar:
- Issues in Spiritual Direction
The staff strongly recommends that during the two-year period the Interns participate in a Directed Retreat experience and the annual Colloquium for Spiritual Directors.
