Directed Retreats:
A directed retreat is a prayer form in which the retreatant comes away for a period of quiet time with God. The retreatant is seen daily by a retreat director who listens attentively to the retreatant's experience of prayer and strives to facilitate a deepening of the retreatant's relationship with God.
The prayer material selected is ordinarily based on scripture. Persons having made retreats of this type often describe them as rich experiences of the generosity and love of God.
Directed Retreats are ordinarily one-week silent retreats. For some people, taking that much time off work or away from family is not an option. We welcome those who are unable to make a full week retreat to join us for a shorter retreat of 4 days.
