Toronto Canada, November 1-7, 2018

The world’s major faiths are increasingly finding ways to work together globally to address the major social issues threatening the human family and the Earth community. The commitment to love, justice, peace, and the wellbeing of the whole planetary community of Earth is increasingly recognized to be shared universally by the major faiths.

This interfaith dialogue and cooperative action is and must be the future of Earth evolution.  We at the Dominican Center: Spirituality for Mission are working to participate in t his growing interfaith movement through our Interfaith Calendar and this page featuring, celebrating, and promoting Interfaith Action.

Our first efforts in that arena here call attention to the Parliament of the World Religions Assembly held in Toronto, ON, Canada November 1-7, 2018.  This page offers posts introducing the themes of the Assembly featured on each of the days of the gathering. Once reports from our colleagues and others attending the Assembly begin to flow in, we will fill out these posts with fuller indications of the directions set for cooperative Interfaith Action in the year ahead. Watch our Facebook page for notification of updates.
