Let Us Pray…
Prayer is our opening to the embrace by the Holy One. When we pray, we open our hearts & hands to the sacred mystery who continually creates, redeems, & transforms us. Whether we are asking for our needs, or expressing our gratitude, or simply being present we are praying. And as we pray we become more vulnerable and more fully our real selves.
Below are several written prayers and poems, some for special occasions, some to request God’s blessing, some to share our pain, some to ask for forgiveness, some to give praise, and some to express our gratitude. Let us pray for and with one another as we bring our needs and hopes into God’s presence and open ourselves to God’s embrace.
